Emotional Freedom Technique
(EFT/Tapping)

Not everything can be explained, sometimes you just have to do it!

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is an energy  technique used for releasing negative emotions and limiting beliefs. EFT is an easy self-help tool that focuses directly on resolving the root cause of the problem, i.e., the negative emotions (or stress) underlying the problem. Properly applied, EFT can be used to permanently sever the connection between a stress trigger and the conditioned stress response, giving you the freedom to respond  in a more balanced way .  The model I follow was created by Gary Craig and has been used in therapeutic settings with effective results.

If you are dealing with beliefs, emotions, and issues that block you from being able to respond to situations in a calm and appropriate manner, this modality is for you. If you are feeling limited, inhibited, or unable to change certain behaviors or experience chronic pain, this modality will be an invaluable tool. This technique has been used for relief from negative emotions, anxiety, depression, self-doubt, procrastination, grief and pain.

In short, EFT helps you to resolve the negative emotions from previous experiences that are stuck in your subconscious mind, so that you can respond to what is happening in the present moment, rather than being involuntarily carried away by unresolved negative emotions from the past that aggravate your current experience. EFT utilizes the energy meridians of the body, intention, practice, and asking the right questions. This technique has immediate relaxation results but a commitment to the practice and time will be needed to resolve deeper issues. If you are experiencing extreme instability, please ask your  healthcare professional if this modality is appropriate for you.
